This...is incredible. Not only has the godawful Bloomberg logo been circulating for at least a day with no pushback, the apparently fake site is selling merch and collecting contact data from supporters. Still.
“We will be asking.” Future tense.
The fake Bloomberg 2020 site is posing as a campaign website, collecting emails and phone numbers from potential supporters. You’d think @howiewolf would be approaching the situation with a bit more urgency.
To recap, this logo and the associated website are fake, but Bloomberg’s operation apparently didn’t get around to saying so until @howiewolf sent out a handful of early-weekend-morning QT’s about an hour ago.
(If there was earlier social media pushback, I missed it, and I’ve been poking around looking. Hook me up if I missed something, and I’ll update.)
