I have not endorsed anyone, but to claim that Julian Castro hasn't expressed his motivations for running for president is deeply insulting and hacky. He is one of the very few candidates amplifying marginalized communities in a way other candidates seem unwilling to do.
You can disagree with Julian Castro on the issues. You can claim his approach isn't the right way. But to insinuate that he's an empty suit looking for a reason to run is quite ridiculous and a bit racist.
And to be abundantly clear: with all the love in the world to folks living in Iowa and New Hampshire doing the good work we need in this country, claiming two overwhelmingly white states should go first because "that's the way it's always been" is ridiculous.
