When I listened back, I did two things:
ONE: Made bullet points under every question with word-for-word what my customers said.
TWO: Used bold and italics to highlight key word triggers I can use in future copy and content.
Then I asked him deep questions all about his business and life (even the name of his dog and where he lives... "the creepy stuff").
That story is now my "customer avatar."
I've still got two more calls to listen back to.
Then I'll edit all 11 customer calls into one audio file using ScreenFlow.
I'll unsubscribe from all podcasts.
Until I understand my customer so well that my product or service fits him and sells itself.
I'll use the information to write:
Better blog content.
Better email sequences.
Better sales copy.
The kicker?
I now have a plan to update Content Mavericks training to make it even better for my paying customers in 2020 based on EXACTLY what they want.
