Really not good that a gentle interrogation of a propoganda narrative propounded by a palpably dishonest regime should inspire such confected outrage.
And one might make exactly the same point about Corbyn's preference, where possible, for due process. There's hardly a lawyer in the country who'd say differently.
I doubt you can fairly say that these points resonate only because of Corbyn's historic anti-Westernism. Similar crap was used with Miliband where there was no historic resonance.
Ultimately, I guess, you have to decide whether you value the chance of a functioning democracy. And if you do you have to call this crap out, whether your man benefits or not. And I very much don't want Corbyn.
