for what its worth i think the struggle against white supremacy and white nationalism is the defining one of our time and each of us has a responsibility to engage with it
there are so many different ways to do that but i don’t think the work is solely electoral and definitionally can’t be
direct action, writing (articles, but also op eds, letters to the editor, etc), joining movements against police brutality/for racial justice/anti mass incarceration/against ICE, protesting confederate monuments... you can do something in this moment. there’s space for everyone.
