I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they’re not whores taking a paycheck; they’re not serious about the world around them and it’s a scandal that this should come out of the most well-funded “conservative” think tank in America.
Of course, Rush Limbaugh wasn’t a new *platform*—he had a show on a very old platform (AM radio). In this example, it’s the Fairness Doctrine itself that is the equivalent to Silicon Valley’s stifling of speech.

I’d take this nonsense whining a lot more seriously if French would bring himself to read Lee Smith’s book. Then again, there hasn’t been a single phony Fusion GPS story he hasn’t believed and defended, so reading the backstory would be awkward.
Every step of the way, French has reached near-erotic levels of excitement when a new phony GPS story was dropped.

He hates Trump so he came to trust and revere the nonsense peddled by Steele, Simpson and their media collaborators.

Never said “wow, I guess I fucked up.”
It’s so telling that in his pathetic newsletter dropping he runs to the fainting couch about “coup”—but never mentions the case conservatives have made about the use of the word, or the weaponization of law enforcement and national security apparatus to target Trump associates.

If you’re looking for something good to watch, the new David Crosby documentary by Cameron Crowe (available at Youtube) is excellent. Crosby gives the best interview in the business. Totally engaging.

The key was a #video explaining the benefits of pruning.

Apparently, pruning in a particular manner stimulates growth hormones.

This is my grandfather, Murray Goldfinger. The tattoo, 161108, was given to him at Birkenau.

He's 91 and his health is failing. He told his tale of survival for 65 years. Now, I've taken the responsibility.

One part of his story always gets a big reaction from students.
January 1945. Murray (born Monek) was on The Death March west from Birkenau as Russian soldiers advanced from the east.

He was tired, cold, and hungry. He saw something in the air, descending towards him.

It hit him in the chest, and he caught it.

A 2-lb piece of roast beef.
Monek was shocked. He looked around. Nobody had noticed, so he stuffed it under his shirt.

Over the next two days, he tore small pieces and ate them on the sly.

When I told the story to a group of eighth graders today, they all laughed.

"Was it a gift from Heaven?" I asked.
