1. It Takes Two to Ruin a marriage?

I contend it only takes one… Evidence shows that it only takes one person to ruin a relationship one selfish person.
2. Everyone is selfish to one degree or another. The type of selfishness that ruins marriage is the one that frequently disregards the needs, wants, and desires of the other person.
3. The belief that the offending partner creates the unhealthy & untenable environment in a marriage that leads to its demise.

This is not to say that two people can’t, together, destroy a marriage, but that depends on the choices each person makes with regards to their partner.

Once Upon a Time,

I was Somebody.

I was a grassroots organizer and an aspiring writer.

But...

A relentless eating disorder, severe depression, a sexual assault, a broken heart...these things drove my passion from me entirely.
No segue here.  I have a lot to get to and at the end of the day, who really cares how I became some anonymous loser with a cartoon avi?

As the years passed I kept writing...but my sorrow remained an ever present stain over my world perspective.
I became a Frankensteinian juxtiposition... irritatingly cynical, willfully nialistic, indomitably curious, paradoxically religious and deeply apathetic.

And I fled as thousands of lonely people do, to The Internet.  But I rarely talked to people there.

Once upon a time, I was a worship leader at a local church, after having been in music ministry since I was 15. I had helped transform their music ministry with my gifts and time

Then they kicked me out. And that was how I became #Exvangelical. It wasn't originally voluntary.
We had been at this church for 3 years after moving here. We were active, part of a small group we "did life with". 3 kids in the children's ministry. I was the pianist and a vocalist, alternated leading worship with the other leader, a man. We were happy, they were our family.
During a study I was leading in my home, I mentioned that I wasn't complementarian but believed in equality between husband and wife. Our marriage was egalitarian, I gave Bible verses that supported my position. 1 friend apparently felt threatened by this new info.

Once upon a time, long before the British, we had our own Vedic system of time keeping. We had 30 muhurtas in a day. Life was quicker paced, organized and more efficient. Each muhurta had a name too. #missingVedicTimes
How did the Vedic people measure the muhurta? How was it standardized across the Vedic civilization to prevent regional asynchrony?
By the use of Clepsydras(water clocks) until Vedic mathematics and astronomy was rigorous enough to arrive at horological constants independently.
The oldest explicit instruction for measuring the muhurta is found in the 𝘝𝘦𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 𝘑𝘺𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘢 of Lagadha, the 1st treatise of astronomy. It is datable quite dependably to~1400BCE by references in verses 6 &7 (1340-1370 BCE using various siddhantas for back calculation)
