So you can’t tweet over 140 characters right now, which opens a LOT of questions about how twitter is implemented
Images and other embeds are also broken, which implies characters 141-280 are implemented as an embed into a 140-tweet???
Some people are saying everything is fine for them, so apparently it’s an uneven outage. Yes, I made sure it wasn’t specific to my client; I only noticed myself because of all the other people complaining about the outage

Okay so, I’m gonna rant about github a little bit, to the surprise of no one

Github has claimed that if they don’t provide services to ICE, then the lives of ICE’s victims will be *worsened*, somehow
I could maybe buy this argument in the case of someone who supplies food or medicine: a concentration camp with no food is in fact even worse than a concentration camp with regularly scheduled food deliveries

But what does github sell? Software. What does software do?:
Software makes things more efficient. Software makes things scale. Software lets you do more with less budget.

All things that are kinnnnnnnnnd of bad in the context of an organization famous for committing human rights violations

@estahthor 2. NOW: #Follower-count remains flat for years (despite new followers & unfollow-tool shows 30 unfollows per week), #impressions now around 40.000 per day (60% less). RT & Likes still high, but had much more in the past.
