Queering of consent: do you notice the "heads we win, tails you lose" quality of gender ideology's demands?

As @rights_info puts it "under current laws, a couple cannot change their status from same sex to opposite sex [NB: or vice versa] without the consent of the spouse" (well yes.. there is a good principle for not allowing "a couple" to do something without consent of both parties)

"spousal veto" sounds negative but it's a recognition of consent. A straight woman shld not be forced into a same sex marriage because her husband transitions. When did she become a lesbian?
And a lesbian should not be bounced into a blind date with a member of the opposite sex.

The right of women to withhold consent and to maintain control over who gets to see, touch, penetrate and impregnate her body is recently won, fragile and frequently assailed.
The fact that well meaning people, motivated by enthusiasm for inclusivity of a new & fashionable marginalised group, can support calls to trample over women's boundaries without even noticing they are doing it, shows just how fragile the idea of women's autonomy really is.
