The MAS are holding an extraordinary congress on Saturday to reevaluate political strategy after the coup.

It'll be held with the main indigenous and campesino groups, but unfortunately wihout the labor unions (COB) who have mostly withdrawn from national politics since the coup
The COB has been included in negotions with the govt, but it wasn't them who were mobilizing on the streets against the coup. Their recent Congress doesnt even refer to a coup, only asks the 'transitional government' to respect human rights.
From the actory workers union, calls for speedy elections and an end to represion, but doesn't come against the coup itself.

The indigenous and campesino unions are the resistance. Workers unions are playing a marginal role, just like they did during the founding of the MAS
