OK, here goes... Princess Anne: the truth. No, she didn't snub the Trumps. And she wasn't told off by the Queen.

Instead the Queen, after greeting the Donald (and the Melania), turned to Anne to see who was next. But there wasn't anyone waiting: Trump was the last leader to be received by the Queen.

This was based on a file in the National Archives found by @philipvmurphy . It was quite a surprise it had been let through by the censors: it seemed obvious that they had just overlooked it.

Until I sent this tweet earlier in the week, I’d never publicly talked about this. I’ve discussed it at work (I’m a leader of diversity, inclusion & equity), but that’s it.

I thought if I could commit to fighting for justice & equality, that would be enough.

I was wrong...
My parents adopted me when I was 6 weeks old. They weren’t good parents. My childhood sucked. But most of the scars have healed, both inside and out.

Trump repeatedly triggers trauma for me. Because he’s awful, yes. But also because he looks, sounds & acts exactly like my dad...

Ok who's interested in learning more about Svelte? I spent a few hours this morning tinkering, and I think I got enough done to understand and share some big picture things.

tl;dr - it's weird at times, but extremely flexible and reactive, with great perf.

Don't expect any kind of cool, flashy demo. That takes time I don't have; I'll try to show enough code to demonstrate some core concepts.
@HenrikJoreteg's "spreadsheet programming" is 💯—update 1 bit of state, have everything cascade. That's the goal. That's everything. Any JS framework that doesn't support that, seamlessly, shouldn't be taken seriously or considered.

React shines here. But so does Svelte.
