Just after Christmas we published a story about how the Queen lobbied the government in 1995 for a replacement for the Royal Yacht Britannia.

This was based on a file in the National Archives found by @philipvmurphy . It was quite a surprise it had been let through by the censors: it seemed obvious that they had just overlooked it.

Since then the writer @davidjmcclure has tried to look at the file himself. Guess what: it has been withdrawn.
