4 days until I go to Jamaica to visit family I only learned existed in May (Black family after only ever knowing white relatives). 2019 is keeping its high intensity life-changing nature to the end. What a fucking rollercoaster. Even making a packing list is making me nervous.
I will say though yall: my sister who’s 5 years younger than me is so cute. I really just wanna dress up & go dancing with her.
I’ve never had relatives I look like so the experience of finding out my sister looks so much like me has been surreal AF. Like there is no doubt. I can’t wait to get pics of us together.
