Sounds like this dude needs to be subpoenaed.
Because the correct answer to that question was just a "no." Because he could not just unblinkingly say "no," there's clearly more to the story.
Mark Esper works for the American people, not the President. It was our taxpayer money that was being withheld. We have every right to know how it was being used.
And also, kudos to Chris Wallace for asking that simple and important question. I await his impending firing by Fox News.
