Today I learned that Bette Midler has never taken a minute to rest and check her phone while touring a museum. Either that, or she thinks a picture taken in one moment of time captures everything we need to know about the people whose image is being taken.
And also, apparently people of Bette Midler's generation, when they were young people, never once were bored or complained when their parents took them to an art museum. They always said "thank you so much for this culturally enriching experience! I can't get enough of it!"
Boomers do this sort of sh*t that drove them crazy when their parents did it to them...and then they wonder where that whole "ok boomer" meme came from.
"My generation listened to music that gave the middle finger to the man which is what made us great...and why are the stupid kids today not doing what I think they should be doing?!?!?"
Bette Midler in 1968: "Don't Trust Anyone Over Thirty!"
Bette Midler in 2019: "What the Hell is Wrong with the Kids These Days!!!"
