Then, the FBI agent admits that the reason why he wanted to have Halper as informer on Russia investigation is because Halper already knew Trump campaign people (Gen Flynn and Manafort). But he did not realise Halper was invited to join the campaign. /3
Then, on August 11, three senior FBI guys go see Halper on the off chance he might know something about 'Russian interference' and Papadopolous. Halper, the 73 year old "Cambridge professor". ARE YOU BUYING IT SO FAR? /4
They want you to believe that the FBI did not reveal to Halper that there was an investigation or who the targets were, but just asked Halper about Papadopolous without giving the game away... /5
Next, Halper brings up, out of the blue, Carter Page. FBI agents 'did not react' as they 'didn't know where they were going to go with it' . Halper tells he just happened to meet Carter Page at a conference a month previously, and that Page invited Halper to join the campaign./6
The FBI told Horowitz that Halper was not trying to join the Trump campaign. But Sam Clovis, campaign co-chair, released Halper's letter showing how much Halper was chasing him. /7
The FBI told Horowitz that they 'kind of stumbled' upon Halper! In fact, Halper had worked for the FBI for years. The FBI also told Horowitz that it was 'serendipitous' that Halper knew 3 of the FBI's main targets, @GenFlynn, Manafort and Page. How lucky! /8
@GenFlynn 'Case Agent 1' told Horowitz that if Halper joined the Trump campaign, he would have a job to do which would have been "difficult". Yet Halper still managed to juggle that year earning USD 700,000 doing "threat assessments" for Pentagon whilst spying full time on the campaign. /9
@GenFlynn FBI told Horowitz using Halper gave them 'smart and quiet' ways "to find out what the heck Papadopoulos meant by... the Trump team received a suggestion from the Russians". Halper quietly proceeded by blasting it throughout press and shouting at Papadopolous at a restaurant. /10
@GenFlynn The FBI wanted Halper to ask Carter Page about the media reports that "by coincidence" appeared days after Halper previously met Page. /11
@GenFlynn Why didn't Horowitz ask a simple question: why is it always Halper? Halper got the FBI gig because he said he knew Gen Flynn, Manafort and Page. Then he was sent to meet Papadopolous. That's four out of four Trump campaign advisors under investigation, all targeted by Halper. /12
@GenFlynn On top of targeting Gen Flynn, Manafort, Page, Papadopolous, Halper also met with and recorded 'high-level campaign official', campaign co-chair Sam Clovis. But they still tell us that the FBI did not spy on the Trump campaign. /13
@GenFlynn Important: Horowitz confirms that Halper's Aug 2016 meeting with Page was used for the third FISA renewal in June 2017. Thats's nearly a year after the meeting and 7 months after election. The FBI were spying on the President and his administration using Halper's 'evidence' /14
