Many thanks to @Counsell_C and @GraceEHealy for the curriculum challenge today. Thank you also @DRETnews @educurious2015 and @emneild. Much to consider!

Here are a few questions and statements that got me thinking👇
Has compliance forced you into proxies? Do you notice when?

Is curriculum at the heart of your theory of change?

Do you / your middle leaders really understand what is meant by them curriculum is the progression model?
The final performance does not resemble the means of its nurture.
Your ability to notice depends on your background knowledge.
Knowledge is inclusion. You include children by giving them something to say, to think with, to treasure, to use.

The curriculum is about crafting readiness. The most important child in your crafting of readiness is the disadvantaged child.
Each curriculum and senior leader needs to embody and model the fruits of a rich curriculum in their own person. Personal embodiment creates culture.

What are you doing to embody your faith in your curriculum? How does it surface in your behaviour?
Those☝️merely scratch the surface. The day was so very rich, challenging and thought provoking. I feel enriched (and a bit cleverer 🤣)

Lots to consider as we develop narrative of our curriculum. @lodgeparkacad. #excitingtimes
