Before making New Years resolutions, I thought I’d start by looking back with gratitude at 🔟 things I’ve accomplished this past year.

I want to say a big 🙌🏽THANK YOU🙌🏽 to my colleagues, friends, and family for your support on this journey! #ThankYou2019
Finished my work at @yalefes and moved to a new country.🛫🇺🇸🛬🇩🇪

Though I still miss my colleagues and the students I worked with, I'm still collaborating with them so it isn't really goodbye!
💡🗺️ Started a geospatial consulting business. 🗺️💡

Glad to also be working with fellow @geospatialwomen entrepreneur @JuliaWagemann to kick off new ideas in 2020!

I want to also thank Emmanuel Mondon of @Maxar for connecting me to the #EU #EO space!
👍Completed 1 major client project so far with more underway

I worked with Yale's @NewHavenURI to create a new interactive visualisation of the #NewHaven #StreetTree inventory, along with a step-by-step guide to building and using the map.
🌐Attended #GeoForGood2019 & ran a #GeoMeet with @LadiesOfLandsat

I got to reconnect with @yalefes alumni like @Chalkemort and @mapninja. It was also great to work with @Chalkemort & @GinoMiceli to kickstart the community tutorials for #EarthEngine. 📸credit: @nekodawn
🌎🌍🌏Started the #EarthEngineVirtualMeetup

We've had 3 meetups with a truly global audience so far. People have dialled-in from #Panama, #Senegal, #Norway, #India, #USA... Register for our next meetup on 8th January: earthengine.sabrinaszeto.com
👣Started a #mentorship programme for @geospatialwomen with @AubieDouglas and @JuliaWagemann

We had over 180 people apply to the #mentorship programme (see 🗺️). We expanded our target of 10 #mentorship groups to 16! Our first cohort has 42 participants from 16 countries.
📄We also submitted an abstract to @EuroGeosciences 2020 about the @geospatialwomen #mentorship programme!

🔌If you'd like to be a part of our 🪔 second #mentorship cohort in September 2020, sign-up here to get updates: gmail.us20.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=cd…
🏋️‍♀️Won 3rd place with my team at the @googlecloud + #FemaleTechLeaders hackathon in Munich. Cheers to teammates Oliver Kalscheuer and Benedikt Löbbecke! #lifeatgoogle #isarvalley

I also participated in two business idea contests:
1) @CopernicusMasters along with Alexandre Payez, Kirill Uschatov & Joanna Jurkiewicz
2) @PARSEC_EU which is still open for applications!

Why don't you submit a 3 minute video too? Applications close on 3 Jan 2020.
Last but not least, I want to thank @BZgeo for encouraging and inspiring me to start tweeting again at #GeoForGood19.

Thanks for being a role model with your science communication!

@geospatialwomen @AubieDouglas @JuliaWagemann Edit: Make that 17 countries!
