This thread, shared with permission, explains why the gender extremists will lose their war against women's rights. It is simply a matter of time; but may it happen with as few additional casualties among women & girls, LGB people, children, & autistic people, as possible. /1
Gender ideology craziness will eventually correct itself. Alas, unless it’s stopped soon, the correction will only happen as a result of many girls &women suffering sexual attacks & abusive clandestine photography by abusive men being allowed access to women's protected spaces./2
My experience as an educator tells me that schools/universities have become places where young people are increasingly pressured into an uncritical acceptance of fashionable woke views, instead of places where critical thinking & courageous, principled challenge are encouraged./3
However, there is one thing that will not succumb to this programming & mob intimidation: the powerful natural impulse for parents to protect their children from harm. Girls being put at risk in toilets from abusive males allowed to pretend to be trans, will be a step too far./4
Parents will also see the hard work of their daughters to excel in competitive sport being repeatedly frustrated by males who self-identify as trans being allowed to compete alongside them, & they will see the effect this has on their children &eventually reject this injustice./5
So many parents will experience the impotent agony of seeing their children groomed by gender extremists, with the collusion of "professionals" whose institutions have suffered policy capture. The breast-binding, the puberty blockers, the cross-sex hormones. It will all end./6
