I love reading about Przybylski's star, one of the most bizarre objects in the sky, but every blog post about it derails into a pointless discussion of how to say its name. The answer: don't, unless you're Polish. And stop asking us. Just read it silently. sites.psu.edu/astrowright/20…
The reason I tell you to not to try isn't because you can't handle the forest of consonants, but because Americans aspirate their "p"s and can't figure out how to not do it. That, plus not being able to say "r", is the standard way to make fun of an American accent in Polish.
This is still not as great as Russian, where they have a special verb that means "to be unable to pronounce the letter R", and that verb has an R in it.
Anyway, the star is awesome. One of the few things you can point at in the sky and not have "it's aliens" be a ridiculous explanation.
