1. Love is a subject that every one of us has an opinion on. However our emphasis is on the doing part of Love. #Love
2. The first component of Love is in John 3:16 - for God so love the world that He gave his only begotten Son. #Love
3. To love is to recognize value in someone and to demonstrate that recognition of value. #Love
4. When you recognize the worth and value of other people then you realise the gap between their reality and their potential. So, you want to bridge that gap by giving. #Love
5. God recognized value in us. He demonstrated the value that he recognized in us by giving us His Son. Because He wanted to bridge the gap between where we were as sinners and our potentials as the righteousness in God. #Love
6. The first prove of Love is giving. The second one is a derivative of the first one, forgiving. When we love, we give and we forgive. #Love
7. To forgive means to cancel a debt. In this instance, they are emotional debt. To forgive is to refuse to hold feelings of resentment or animosity against someone. Forgiveness is a cancellation of an emotional debt. #Love
8. The question that we are asking today is; Who should you love? or Who deserves to be loved? We are to love God. Secondly, other people. (Matt 22: 37-40). #Love
9. Who is your neighbour? That would suggest someone who is in close proximity, family member, colleague at work. It means everyone including enemies and naysayers. Love your enemies (Matt. 5:43-44). #Love
10. It is amazing how as New Testament Christians, we are still been taught to hate our enemies, pray against them, pray for harm to happen to them; but what did Jesus say we should do to them? Love our enemies. #Love
11. The best thing to do to your enemies is to Love them. You can't figure it out more than God. #Love
12. Our attention here is been drawn to the fact that in our relationship with people, their actions should not change our nature. Our actions should not be a reaction to what they do, but it should be something that emanate from our own nature. #Love
13. If God is Love and we have his nature in us, then we are love. If we are squeezed, Love should flow out. Whatever we do needs to be a product of our God given nature. #Love
14. Why is God able to shine the sun both on the good and the bad? Why is he able to make the rain to fall both on the good and the bad? Their actions will never change Him. #Love
15. God is Love. The worst level of hatred from anyone will never change the love nature of God. Whatever we are going to do, whether people love us or hate us, need to be a product of our God's nature. #Love
16. If the only measure of our capacity to Love are the good things we've been doing to other believers, there is a blessing for that because it is a commandment in the Bible(Gal 6:10) But when it comes to people that don't like you, there is a blessing for giving to them. #Love
17. It does seem to me like the blessing for giving to those that don't like you weighs a whole lot more in God's sight. Matt 5:45 "that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil & on the good, & sends rain on the just & on the unjust" #Love
18. Matt 5.46 - For if you Love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? Christ said that when it comes to loving your parents, siblings or colleagues in the office; even people that do not have the nature of God do that. #Love
19. It all comes down to nature. When God says to a believer, love; it is because He knows that the capacity to love is in us as children of God. (John 8:37-41). #Love
20. Behaviour is a product of nature and you derive your nature from the one who birthed you, Matthew 5 admonishes us of the goal to become ‘’Sons of Your Father’’. #Love
21. It’s time for us to live out the true nature of our Father; Love. There will never be a good excuse to hate; hate is not the nature of God. #Love
22. No society will ever be able to make progress when prejudice thrives and the people who should have the most capacity to Love are Christians. People that dislike us are the true test of our capacity to Love. #Love
23. Say this after me; Heavenly Father, I declare that I’m your child; I declare that at the point that I received forgiveness from you, I received a change of nature. I declare today as your son/daughter I have only your nature and only your nature will come out of me. #Love
24. From today, peoples actions will not make me produce anything that is different from your nature. Thank you Heavenly Father. Only Love will come out of me. Since you are Love, I am Love. #Love
25. I have the capacity to Love, I receive the capacity to love the ungodly. I will let my rain fall on the just and the unjust. Let your will be done, let your kingdom come in Jesus’ name, Amen. #Love
