As the end of the year approaches, it is time for Gaming Hell's traditional Year In Revue. What, if anything, did the strongest video games website get up to in 2019?

Enough, I suppose!
At the start of the year, I decided to do something a little different and have a teaser image, of sorts

I don't know if it was useful for generating Hype at all, but it certainly helped me to focus on getting specific games done.

... Even if I kept adding to it.
Anyway, let's look at what we covered this year!

First, we had two consoles make their site debut- the DS with New International Track & Field

And the Virtual Boy with Insmouse no Yakata and Virtual Lab.

This was also a year of ticking off games I've wanted to cover for a long time, such as the superb Alisia Dragoon

The often-misunderstood D. D. Crew

And, of course, the dread spectre of idols.

What I'm most proud of this year are the two fighting game articles I manage to write- they ended up far more successful than I had hoped! They were Kaiser Knuckle / Dan-Ku-Ga by Taito

And Data East's Fighter's History Dynamite

Some behind-the-scenes, these were not planned in advance, they came about by accident!

For Kaiser Knuckle, a famous fighting gamer streamed the General Challenge... The wrong version of it. I had to seize the opportunity.

For FHD, it was an excuse to celebrate Karnovember~
... And, well, I don't talk about my nonsense MS Paint stuff on this account often, but this year I did produce the most cursed thing I've ever drawn.

I'm not going to say I'm sorry, because that would be a complete lie.
In any case, I must be frank, I have been discouraged at points this year, mostly when dreadful YouTube gaming content enters my field of vision- the frustration of knowing I will never, ever reach those kinds of Numbers. Does a place like Gaming Hell need to exist, then?
... Then my site gets used as a cited reference for an actual book, or people send in encouraging messages or emails, and that kind of thing. So maybe it ain't so bad~

Gaming Hell will keep going on! For another combat!!
On that note, as for what to look forward to, if anyone has ever contributed to the site's tip jar, then from the bottom of my heart, I thank you- it was full enough recently to get some proper capture equipment.

Please look forward to coverage of games like these in the future!

I dunno, I haven't decided myself yet :3

[I don't like it when you make that face! It means something awful and jank is heading to my desk. - The Editor]
And finally... Next year's teaser image, titled The Big Brawl for the King of the Universe, will show up next month. Please look forward to it.

... I was waffling a little, sorry. We only gotta do this once a year, right? See you next tweet, and take care!
