Humanity is headed into even darker times. But it's always darkest before the dawn.
As a species we have lost our way. The veil of forgetting has emboldened us to think we are gods with no responsibility to our creator, instead believing in the primacy of science and technology to create the world of our dreams.
Secularism has replaced religion and belief in the power of the presence within. Pursuit of desire has replaced service to others and God. And we grow more and more discontent with our lives and world, wondering what went wrong.
This path leads us toward our own destruction, yet we're too caught up in our petty affairs to consider that maybe we're the problem, or more particularly the beliefs and perspectives we hold and how we conduct our affairs.
We think money can buy us peace, love and happiness. Yet there's not enough money in the world to do that if we remain disconnected from the light of creator and in denial of any purpose for our being. Our discontent will eat us alive.
Yet without money we subject ourselves to lives of struggle and hardship, not to mention conflict trying to get our piece of the pie. And those who still believe are left to pray, why have you forsaken us, ignoring the gift of life and chance to evolve to oneness?
So we fight to get our share, or force others to care for us through our votes because we are unable to get what we need. And we spiral downward into the darkness.
Our common affairs we turn over to armies of unresponsive, faceless bureaucrats, and surrender our free will to the programs and policies our "leaders" use to control us and feed at the trough of our public coffers.
The solutions lie within us and our journeys to the light, to help us balance our own needs and concerns with those of others, guided by the voice that whispers in the silence.
Yet to hear and follow that voice means moderating our egos lest they distort the inner guidance and lead us deeper into the darkness. But most deny that presence, thinking they can do it themselves without help from beyond the veil of forgetting.
We each must find our own way and relationship with our creator. Denying source and the destination of oneness condemns us to wander around in the dark and succumb to the promises of those who profess to know the way - who know no more than we do.
Living by the light of your soul focuses your gaze upon source, and shifts how you live to better align your efforts with what's needed to make your journey home. Love is the way. The light will show you how.
The choice is yours and yours alone how you will live and conduct your affairs while you're here. Choose wisely. The world you change along the way will be your own.
However you choose for yourself, try to respect the divine light that shines in all. Allow others to choose their path while you choose your own. And then go it with love. It's the only way to reconcile your differences. God bless you indeed.
