Hey, just as a kind of random reminder: if you get a phone call from someone telling you they're some kind of computer security and that your IP address has been detected doing something or something's being done to it, it's probably a scam.
Neither Microsoft nor McAfee nor the FBI is going to cold call you to tell you that something is going on with your computer and walk you through downloading a program that will fix/stop it.
And if it's something that sounds super urgent, like if you don't act now you could lose everything or face criminal charges... well, that feeling is exactly what they're relying on to get you to go along with their instructions.
I have family members who have been taken at least partly in by this, despite warnings. "Yeah, I know what you said, but this was MICROSOFT."
On top of all the other reasons this wouldn't happen, computer companies actually don't want more responsibility for what happens to or on your system once it's in your hands. They just don't.
This is like concierge level computer security services. You're not going to have them without knowing about them.
