I never really hyped it after the Kickstarter because of the timing of its release and my mother's death, but I did publish a collection of short stories last year. I'll be talking more about it in 2020.

It's broadly speculative fiction (fantasy, science fiction, some horror), with each story focusing on human connections and usually one relationship in particular (sometimes romantic, sometimes not). Lot of lesbian content, some ~*adult themes*~ but not erotica.
It's actually kind of painful for me to promote it because some of the stories deal with mother/daughter stuff and one in particular was written after a time (thankfully, years ago) that my father told us we should figure out what we needed to say because time was short.
And then some of the other stories were written during my unofficial-writer-in-residence days at the late, lamented Flying Camel here in Hagerstown.
I have mostly gotten over the swirly negative feelings around self-promo as a matter of survival but then I sank a lot of work and time and energy into this and then got hit with a sack full of emotions about it, which sucks, and I can't afford to let it fade into obscurity.
If you don't do business with Amazon, I will expand it to other outlets this year, which was always the plan. I just go the wind knocked out of my sails post-release.

But it's on Kindle and in print.
The cover was hand-painted by @hexsharpe and I consider it the greatest single investment of my professional career. Look at it. Look at my space bees.
@hexsharpe The cover image is an abstract mash-up of elements from multiple keystone stories in the collection.

I'll have another collection coming out this year (hence why I have to stop pretending this one doesn't exist) with a similar cover concept that I'm very excited about.
@hexsharpe I like working with Hex because they've known me a long time and I don't feel self-conscious about my limitations in describing what I want, visually.

And I can say things like "How about give me some of those weird sci-fi moons."

The new cover has weird sci-fi moons on it.
@hexsharpe Oh, there's no non-Amazon print option yet but you can buy an ebook copy direct from me. I almost forgot about that. sellfy.com/p/icOp/
