Celebrating another stellar #JobsReport & the blue collar boom since @realdonaldTrump took office:
✅Avg wage growth for workers now outpaces wage growth for managers
✅Avg wage growth for those w/o a college degree now outpaces wage growth for those w/ a college degree

✅Avg wage growth for individuals at the 10th percentile of the income distribution now outpaces wage growth for individuals at the 90th percentile
These results are opposite of those of the previous administration’s expansion period, where historically advantaged groups saw higher wage gains relative to blue collar workers. #WinningForYou

Great roundtable with leaders in the Child Care industry to discuss how we work together to provide access to high-quality, affordable care.
Already this Admin has:
1. Doubled the Child Tax Credit and expanded refundability
2. Increased the Child Care and Development Block grants to 5.22 Billion (a 2.37 Billion increase, the largest ever)
3. Worked with States on licensure and Apprenticeship programs for care providers.
4. Included a National Paid Family Leave proposal in ALL Presidential budgets—the first POTUS ever to do so—and is working with bipartisan members of Congress to pass PFL legislation into law.

Why do you think the Dems are so hellbent on abolishing the Electoral College in favor of the popular vote?

It's the same reason our Founders created a Representative Republic rather than Democracy.

In a popular vote contest or straight Democracy, all you have to-
do is deceive at least 51% of the (easily deceived) public and you get mob rule.

"Blue collar boom" or "middle class miracle," none of the things Trump promised about his tax cut have come true.

THREAD fact check:

1. GROWTH: 2.3% (in line w past ten years).
2. BIZ INVEST: slowed to 2.6%,
ab 1/2 the avg rate since the recession ended 10 years ago. (Corps mostly repurchased stock w their windfall & corp tax receipts are down 23% since fiscal 2017.)

3. NOT CLOSE TO PAYING FOR ITSELF: Nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office ...
estimates tax cuts (net) cost around $1.9 trillion over a decade, taking into account added growth.

A FINAL, UNDERREPORTED FACT ABOUT WHY THIS ALL REALLY MATTERS:

The estimated $2 trillion cost of the Bush and Trump-era tax cuts (for the top 1%) through 2025 is the same amount

Neither of you are accurate. You’re grasping at straws trying to define what’s happening when the answer is staring you in the eye.

For such interested, educated folks, you’re truly blind to what’s going on. No wonder citizens of Canada, US & UK have a limited understanding.
How sad that with access to all the information at your fingertips, you miss the big picture.

It isn’t education, poverty, intelligence, class, economics or any of the other reasons journalists keep offering as plausible explanations for a global trend towards autocracy.
It’s thought reform on a massive scale. Weaponized data aggregation identifying those who are most malleable to indoctrination and manipulation of perception.

1- ICYMI Monday we're going to have a dual dynamic:

A- Schiff report presented to House Judiciary Committee, but not by...Schiff.

B- FISA abuse report released.

So while Schiff is ducking his own report, Americans get hard evidence of our own gov't "digging up dirt", on Trump.
2- Schiff will look weak. The House D's will look weak. They're also not helping themselves with insane pivots back to Russia! & Mueller.

Meanwhile the FISA abuse is well known by conservatives but so much by the rest of the country. They will get an education.
3- This will put more holes in the Impeachment boat. It is unclear even now if Pelosi has the votes. If she doesn't now, she surely won't by the end of next week.

Add to this the #JobsReport today & this is a perfect storm for the House D's.

Wage growth in Q4 2018 was the strongest in more than 10 years. The Labor Market ate the government shutdown for breakfast, despite Keynesian "experts" doing their usual Chicken Little routine.

AHE (wages) are up 3.2% for the year.
