BIG JOBS REPORT! Unemployment up to 4%, but that's what happens when people want to work again.
Here's that #JobsReport referenced in the above tweet. peoplespunditdaily.com/news/economy/2…
Wage growth in Q4 2018 was the strongest in more than 10 years. The Labor Market ate the government shutdown for breakfast, despite Keynesian "experts" doing their usual Chicken Little routine.

AHE (wages) are up 3.2% for the year.

Labor market slowed substantially in Sept.

134,000 added jobs indicating worker shortages and U.S. trade skirmishes are cutting hiring.

Who could have predicted that trade embargoes would be bad for the workers who benefit from free trade?

Look, the problem isn't the unemployment rate.

The problem is that when the Great Recession hit, millions of good paying jobs disappeared.

The economy is bouncing back, but those good paying jobs have been replaced by low paying jobs. #jobsreport
For a concrete example of this, watch this report on just one city: Dayton, Ohio. #JobsReport

@EconomicPolicy (1/n)
This morning’s #jobsreport showed that the economy added 134,000 jobs in September, down from 270,000 jobs created in August.

Note: large revisions increased the August number from their initial report. (2/n)
This below trend topline number is partially due to Hurricane Florence, which made landfall during the reference period for this survey. Over the last three months the labor market has added 190,000 job per month on average, which is likely closer to the underlying trend. 3/n
