NEW: The State Department just released 71 pages of former Ukraine envoy Kurt Volker's calendars and text messages to American Oversight in response to our lawsuit. We've posted the records here, and we will be replying with updates as we review the files: americanoversight.org/state-departme… 
The calendars cover the period from March to September 2019 but they are sparsely populated and do not appear to reflect many of Volker's day-to-day activities—and they do not include multiple meetings that were publicly reported.
Based on our initial reading, the text messages released by State tonight do not appear to contain any messages that Volker did not provide to Congress during the impeachment inquiry.
Several of Volker's calendar invitations appear to copy a second, likely non-governmental, "Kurt Volker" email address – such as this invitation for a meeting with Secretary Pompeo at the State Department on May 1, 2019.
There are shockingly few calendar entries for an incredibly busy six month period in which Volker traveled extensively and met with world leaders. If other records exist, we intend to pursue them. americanoversight.org/state-departme…
