There's an exchange here between Parnas and Robert Hyde starting on page 19, in which Harvey appears to be representing himself as having someone following Yavonovitch and how his guys in Ukraine "Are willing to help if we/you would like a price."
Followed by "Guess you can do anything in Ukraine with money...what I was told."

One part of the Ukraine story that's never *quite* made sense to me is the air of menace direct at Amb. Yovanovitch that's always kind of unspecified and never spelled out. Obviously getting fired because you stood in the way of a political hit job sucks, but it's more than that.
Trump famously says of Yovanovitch on the call "she's gonna go through some stuff," but I've never understood what he was implying. Professional sanction? Termination from the State Department?
And then Yovanovitch herself says that Ukrainians were telling her that her security was at risk. Not just that, when she gets recalled by State, she's told that for security reasons she has to get the very next plane back to DC.

But I honestly never understood why.

Madness. The same people pushing the same thing for the entirety of my adult life.
Hundreds of thousands civilians dead. Thousands of US servicemembers killed. Tens of thousands wounded. Trillions spent. We're *still* in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban. Still!

In Iraq, the war gave rise to ISIS and Iranian hegemony.
And so more war always becomes the solution to the problems caused by the last war.

Madness.

Parnas says Giuliani told Ukrainian officials that Parnas was a representative of Trump and was acting on his behalf. Parnas says he would call Giuliani, put him on speakerphone, and Giuliani would confirm as Trump’s personal lawyer that Parnas was representing Trump.

Wow—Parnas says Giuliani instructed him to tell Zelensky’s top aide before Zelensky’s inauguration that the “relationships would be soured, that we would stop giving them any kind of aid” if they did not announce Biden probe. Next day Pence canceled his trip to the inauguration.

In a normal world, a US president would tell a Russian president to knock it off before someone gets killed 1/
Somehow the world hasn’t really focused on the fact that Trump will be meeting with Putin later this week at the G20 meeting in Buenos Aires 2/
