Somehow the world hasn’t really focused on the fact that Trump will be meeting with Putin later this week at the G20 meeting in Buenos Aires 2/
Normally that would be very fortuitous and a chance for the US to push back on destabilizing Russian moves in #Ukraine and to reassert that West will never recognize the Kremlin’s annexation of Crimea 3/
Sadly, Trump will have no credibility with Putin because he has long insisted, bizarrely, that the people of Crimea are happier being part of Russia and routinely dunks on #Ukraine 4/
