The following opinion I hold has enhanced my faith in Christ and worship in the Temple.

What does the tassel of the Temple robe symbolically represent?

It can have many layered interpretations that are valid - I will illuminate some the cosmic, the 'Grand Key' layer.

Joseph Smith drew a diagram for his body guard Philo Dibble [pictured], of the polar congregation of close and interactive planets above the Earth's poles - connected by what they called "narrow necks of land" [glowing plasma], as was the ancient heavens before the Flood of Noah

At some declining paradaisical point in Earth's literal fall from the Father's Star nursery, but before the Flood of Noah when all the planets would be spread about and captured by Sol - seeming to hang then as from 'nothing' laments Joel - Mars, Venus and Saturn were always seen

This *ties into the tassel & why it was tied to 3 loops/rings on the governing shoulder if you would have it.

The Earth is electromagnetically "plugged-in to the Sun"

The polar Auroras are a subtle discharge around the base of the Bierkland Currents

You can see the swirling Bierkland Current formation - swirling filaments and concentric rings.

Just like Rope here on Earth - or Rope up in Heaven.

We even imitate the same principles when we transmit light and energy - and it is echoed and archetyped in the micro as well as the macro. This is a pattern

These depict the plasma[fire] column and bierkland current that is formed between the Earth and a planet making a PASSOVER. This is the Cosmic Mountain. The Axis Mundi. The Tree of Life

It is where all of our Christmas Tree imagery comes from if you didn't see it already. A star on top - the turning tinsel - decorated in LIGHTS - bears GIFTS like immortality and life. It's the tree of life - the tree of LIGHT.

This tree will be visible during the Millenium

The very story of Samson and Delilah is a direct archetype of this cosmic tassel - a braid of "hair" with divine powers [see Rapunzel also] that once - cut - the one connected loses "power". It also initiated a time of chaos and catastrophe.

This idea of cutting the "umbilical cord" - is also known as 'cutting the Gordian knot' which releases the rayed spiral - the angry aspect of the mother goddess

To me the recent Temple changes are just as significant as last year's changes if you had eyes to see.

These tassels/chords/strings/feathers have always represented this flowing of power from the head down the body - both in ceremony below as in heaven above.

Yet sadly - I fear we as a people are not focused on learning from the wisdom of the Fathers as we could. How many do you know who could explain the symbolism on the roof of the conference center? The significance of it?

A dark cloud of distractions blinds the Saints.

While the alterations to the Temple robes does not change the doctrine or symbolism of the Temple as the Church has stated - in certain paradigms this doesn't mean that these changes weren't a tremendous sign.

A symbolic precursor in the Temple for events on Earth - then Heaven

The Nations are deceived. But the Saints need not be.
Now is the time to follow the Prophets. No other doctrine will survive the truth but that doctrine which already embraces truth. Apocalypse is coming. The Lord is coming. THE REDEEMER IS COMING.
