This suburban Starbucks is not full, but my group of 6 moms is the oldest group there by 2 decades. We are planning the events for 8th grade graduation.
We are in the back room where there is only one other occupied table of studying teens.
A barista young enough to be one of our kids comes from the front & tells us that people in front are complaining about how loud we are.
We are shocked.
As we begin walking to the front, we immediately pass a bunch of teenage boys. +
As we get to the front room, we notice that the music is pretty loud & no one in there is over 20. +
We’ve decided our next meeting will be at the bar down the street.
