"Sceptics are irrelevant so here is another angry response to sceptics".

The point, in fact, is always that the climate movement cannot debate. That's why it needs teenage avatars and moral certainties.
It is always interesting when the "if this is the best argument they've got they are in trouble" line emerges.

It's got James Murray worked up. And it's got Simon Evans upset. ...
But @Sherelle_E_J has also woken @LSEnews's resident billionaire vanity-project climate sociopath from his slumber. Perhaps he was grumpy that he had not been invited to Davos.

@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews Ward, continuing falsely claims that Sherelle Jacobs "falsely claims that" "the real scientific argument is whether climate change is the sole cause of the Australian bushfires."

She doesn't.

Ward is a liar.

@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews Read it yourself.

So why does Ward need to lie, Murray needs to scoff, and Evans need to pretend that the piece belongs to some "tickbox" category of article?

(As if we couldn't say the same about almost any green cut-and-paste journalism...).
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews One reason these three angry men might be so cross with the article is that @Sherelle_E_J rightly observes the convergence of managerialism and climate alarmism.
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews Managerial ideology allows mediocrity to triumph. The Carbon Brief - Business Green - Grantham Institute nexus is a hot-spot of medicrity. Failed journalists, failed scientists and advertising salesmen reinvent themselves as planet-savers. But they are just lobbyists.
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews This is not an accident.

You do not often get bright, independently-minded zealots.

Mediocrity is jealous, angry, spiteful. And managerialism is a medicracy. It is Blairism. It is EU federalism. It is climate alarmism.
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews It's only a few hundred words. In a newspaper, that only a few hundred thousand will read. And it makes no controversial statements of fact. Yet it has upset these three mediocrities of the Apocalypse.
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews Oh, and here's another. A Fourth. This one from the Tyndale Centre. So angry.
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews You can see from his "genuine" question, when you compare it to the article, that Capstick is not very bright.

Mediocrats from mediocracies, HATE debate. Zealots HATE debate. Instead, they tend to frame seemingly opposing points of view as abominations.
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews It is only by signalling an abomination that the zealots can enforce the consensus. It censures the journalist, censors the paper, and raps the reader's knuckles in case his intellectual curiosity was sparked by its argument.
@Sherelle_E_J @LSEnews The ecological Taliban in its eco-Madrasa only permits authorised text. This is how the idiot theocracy persists.
