CNN broadcast has reported the fatal helicopter crash and just said there will be an update after they come back from commercial break. Clearly being diligent to make certain and triple check before reporting the news. appreciate this.
some sports media outlets have a rule they don't ever report a death until the Associated Press reports it. I haven't seen AP move the report yet.
CNN live and still not reporting who was in the helicopter. went directly to live press conference where lots of questions being asked on origination, destination, even # of people without any answers.
CNN just confirmed it. appreciated the diligence by all press. what a tragic and terrible report, now confirmed by a number of organizations. sympathy for all victims and those affected by the crash.
