I just remembered that while dancing I kept smelling weed vaguely. Then at one point I turned around & a very drunk white woman was openly vaping on the dance floor & blowing the smoke down during this fancy $150+ ticket ball. Privilege is a trip.
Note: I have -47 problems with weed. I was mostly struck by the nerve & privilege. As a Black woman in the space on a free ticket I was trying to not drink too much free wine! Then this woman is just openly getting high on the dance floor. It’s just...different worlds.
