And I'm pointing today out of sheer disgust over how @StateDept is treating @NPR journalists: namely, Mary Louise Kelly, and @michelekelemen, who was booted from the press pool covering Sec. Pompeo's next trip.

And I'm pointing today out of sheer disgust over how @StateDept is treating @NPR journalists: namely, Mary Louise Kelly, and @michelekelemen, who was booted from the press pool covering Sec. Pompeo's next trip.
So here's what I did...
Sec. Pompeo challenged Mary Louise to point out Ukraine on a map. She did. This morning I pointed to a map, at random, of all the NPR stations in the country. I landed on #Columbus, OH. And so, I donated $500 to @WOSU, which serves Columbus. #PointToNPR
No matter where you point on the map, NPR member stations serve every corner of this nation. They amplify the work of journalists like Mary Louise, Michele and many others. The strongest response to this intolerable official action, is to strengthen that network of stations.
So I encourage you: get a US map, close your eyes, and wherever your finger lands, donate to that city's NPR station. Whatever you give will help that station, and the network, keep pursuing the truth no matter who tries to keep them out or shut them up.
Let's take action on what we believe. Because when you want thoughtful, fearless, brilliant journalism, all you have to do is #PointToNPR.
