Will be making 2 threads of #SFGiants Yolmer Sanchez clips highlighting his defensive abilities at 3B and at 2B. I chose the 1st 5 clips I found that I thought were flashy or difficult, sorted from most favorite to least.

The 5 clips in this thread are of him at 3B in 2018.
1. Sanchez has to range slightly to his right to corral a sharp, but big chopper and make a quick exchange to gun down a speedy Brett Gardner. Gardner's sprint speed in 2018 was 94th percentile in the league, making this an exceptionally hard play. Exit velo: 97.7 mph.
2. Sanchez digs out a one-hopper scalded by Giancarlo Stanton, robbing him of a double. Exit velo: 110.5 mph.
3. Sanchez ranges back and to his right as far as he can on a scorched two-hopper off of Trey Mancini's bat. Like in clip #1, Sanchez shows quick feet and hands and an accurate throw to get Manicini, who had 51st percentille sprint speed in 2018. Exit velo: 99.2 mph.
4. 1st 3 clips exhibit plays to his right, so to be fair, here's Sanchez charging in and to his left and scooping up a dribbler off Jason Kipnis before firing to first. Notice how far he has to travel to get to the ball. Kipnis had 50th percentile foot speed. Exit velo: 54.7 mph.
5. Again, Sanchez flexes his 3B-leading 7 OAA on lateral plays toward 1B, as he ranges slightly to his left, snags a two-hopper, spins, and throws out Jefry Marte. Most difficult part of the play is cleanly fielding the ball on the bounce. Exit velo: 106.2 mph.
