1) The profile picture issue.
It was bothering me for a while. My adult natural hair color was light brown reddish (according to my mother "dirty blond red"). Then came the white threads of hair around 2005 and I started using highlights.

2) Nobody even noticed. It became slowly "blonder" but still, nobody noticed because before my pregnancy I was blond (I'd say dark blond) and as a child, very blond. 👇= 2011

3) It became gradually blonder and blonder, I fucked up by straightening it for pictures and it ended the bottle blond disaster on the great picture my sister took that became my profile picture because it was the most "pro" pic. 👇= 2013

4) In 2015 I "accidentally" moved to the USA - a USA I never knew. I only lived in university towns up to the disaster that caused me to accept the EB-1a permanent visa. And then that bottle blond look started to bother me.

5) At first a little and then a lot. That's the hair you see in maga pictures. That's the American apple-pie right wing bottle blond look. So I cut my hair, started to use henna and according to my mother, I look like what I used to look before hair-wise.

6) I'm changing all my profile pictures. Interesting how we re-signify these items. It didn't use to bother me to be blond. Now it does, a lot. And this is my new profile picture everywhere. Dark hair, wrinkles, no make-up.

7) My eyes are still grayish-blueish but I'm cool with not showing that.

Somebody may ask: does it bother you to be white? Yeah. I have to admit that with the global rise of the white-supremacy based far right, it does bother me.

8) That's not something up for discussion since it's just an irrational reaction and everybody has them. But that bottle blond hair... that I don't even want to look at anymore.
