2. We are all tired. Maybe too tired to realize we have prevailed. It’s not the outcome we wanted but we all sat in a chamber and stared down our problem. We did it calmly and with a grudging understanding of the challenge before us.@NarativLive
3. Often, as with any relationship, you must walk through some rough terrain to realize you brought the wrong gear and you’re teetering on the edge of a cliff without a safety harness. @NarativLive
4. There was nothing fair about this trial but maybe that was the point. For us all to bear witness to the corruption of the system. A reminder that we are all dangling off the edge of a cliff together. So what are we going to do about it? @narativlive
5. America is founded on ideals that are unbreakable. You can make a wrong turn on the way to freedom but freedom itself doesn’t break. It’s too perfect a thing. Freedom has no substitute and, like love, you know freedom when you feel it.
6. If you stop and ask any American what this country is about... go ahead try it....they will tell you in no uncertain terms. Mostly they will converge on the same themes. And it is that unshakeable bond with each other and destiny that’s kept us together.
7. We have faced hard times before and we have come back stronger. Now is not the time for despair, now is the time to get off that cliffside and scale the mountain top.
