Here are my latest graphs of #nCov case and fatality counts from globalcitizen's aggregated data. The doubling time of case counts has increased to about 6 days. But be aware that labs might reach testing capacity limits in the most affected areas. [1/6] 
We don't see a similarly pronounced deceleration in the number of fatalities. Fatalities are expected to lag behind case counts, so this is not unexpected. [2/6]
The number of exported show a pronounced drop in their growth rate late January around that time we expect international air traffic from China to have dropped substantially. [3/6]
Overall, much remains unknown about #nCov: We neither know the numerator, nor the denominator of the case fatality rate: currently, there are 427 death and 20k confirmed cases. But >2k cases are in critical condition and many of them might unfortunately not recover. [4/6]
The denominator is similarly uncertain: The 20k confirmed cases are a drastic underestimate and the true number is likely at least 10-fold higher. Many of the international cases are mild and similar cases might go undetected in high prevalence areas. [5/6]
The true case fatality rate is hence not known to within a factor of 10. My hunch is that it is below 1% and that most cases go undetected, even outside China. [6/6]
