To be honest, if I was running for President, post-Trump, I wouldn't release A GODDAMN THING. The media has embarrassed itself, salivating over details that are released, but shrugging and doing NOTHING about a guy who won't release his taxes and has a quack doctor.
That said, if I actually *won*... I'd immediately demand legislation REQUIRING the release of tax returns, independent medical records, and a number of other things to get on the ballot.
Transparency is important. But we CANNOT have one set of rules for Republicans and one set for Democrats. And since the media cannot be trusted to cover that disparity ACCURATELY... it's gotta be done by federal legislation or not at all.

All right, I think I've pretty much seen enough. Basically Bernie Sanders has been kicking everybody's butt and folks keep throwing up anybody to stop him: Last week it was Pete, this week it's Amy, next week it's Bloomberg. After that "democrats" will run Mitt Romney at him.
If people really wanted to *stop* Bernie they should have given one of the SITTING US SENATORS OF COLOR a chance, instead of the mayor of the 4th largest city in Indiana.
If people were worried about Bernie's "electability" because he calls himself a "socialist," they should have given the "capitalist" progressive a chance, even though she has lady parts.

As much as I hate the idea of money driving politics, the simple fact is that money drives politics. To get the candidates we want (my two faves are pictured), we must support their campaigns financially. Even a buck or two goes a long way.

1/ Campaign funding is important, because candidates need to raise enough money to make it into the debates. We don’t want a debate stage of old white men & also YOUNG white men. And not just because of diversity. Because those candidates are the weakest.
2/ MSM already has its preferred candidates, which is to say, the aforetweeted white men. The institutionalized sexism that brought us “but her emails” will continue to run amok.

“We need someone who will beat Trump” is code for “We need a strong white man to save us.”

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to swing on someone because of some wild shit they said. But the reality is that Terry Crews, and every other black man, no matter how rich or strong, is still a nigga in this world and suffers from the optics of white supremacy
as black men, SO many cards are stacked against us. Constantly under scrutiny, gotta do 10x the things white counterparts have to while also 10x more likely to fall harder for mistakes than white men. In that split second, he had to make a million decisions at once.
