1. CHINHOYI CAVES: The beautiful & breathtaking blue oasis is 123km away from Harare (1 hr 30 minute drive).You can opt to self drive with a group of friends or use public transport to Chinhoyi & catch a cab to the caves. Activities include a tour of the caves,lions and diving.
2. PARADISE POOLS x ARCADIA DAM: situated in Bindura town. It is 115 km away from Harare ( 1hr 30 to 2hr drive). The best option would be to self drive with a group of friends or family. Activities include swimming, jet skiing and boat cruise ( with own boat & jet skis).
3. BUSHMAN ROCK SAFARI: the perfect getaway from the wine connoisseurs. 50km away from Harare CBD ( 1hr drive). Best option would be to self drive. Activities include wine tasting, wine estate tour, game drive, canoeing and they also offer lunch.
4.IMIRE GAME RESERVE: Imire is a rhino and wild life conservation in Marondera (2 hr drive). Best option would be to self drive.Activities include a game drive, feeding the elephants (Saturdays) and walking with the rhinos.
5.LAKE CHIVERO: a reservoir on the Manyame river. It is a 45 minute drive from Harare CBD. Best option: self drive. Activities include fishing, boat cruise. There are also braai facilities.
6. NGOMAKURIRA: For the ultimate hiking experience! Go and experience the best view of Domboshava and an amazing sunset. Ngomakurira is under an hour away from Harare CBD. Activities include hiking and exploring the caves with rock paintings.

7.MAZOWE DAM: a recreational centre with activities including fishing, sightseeing and boat rides. A beautiful area to have picnics and braai. It is 40minutes away from Harare CBD perfect for day trip.
8.UMFURUDZI: a 2hour drive away from Harare. It has a wide range of wild animals including elephants, buffalos and zebras. Activities include an elephant encounter, game drive and swimming. A perfect place for a day trip with braai facilities. Best option would be self drive.
9. MSINJE FARM: The perfect place to get away from the city to relax and appreciate nature. Its 30km away from Harare under an hour’s drive. Activities include snake encounter, strawberry picking for children (when in season) and there are also braai facilities.
10. MUTORASHANGA: One of the best cliff diving spots close to Harare. Mutorashanga is 1-2 hour drive away from Harare. There are 2 ways to reach Mutorashanga- Mazowe rd (the better road) or Banket/ Chinhoyi road. Activities include swimming, cliff diving and exploring the caves.
11. WILD IS LIFE: also known as Zimbabwe Elephant nursery offers a magical, unique afternoon experience! It is a 30 minute drive away from the CBD. Activities include guided tour of the animal sanctuary, afternoon tea, lion feed & an evening topped off with champagne & canapés.
12.DOMBOSHAVA: The granite hill on the outskirts of Harare. Activities include trekking, perfect place for a sundowner and picnics. There are also rock paintings. It is under an 1hr ‘s drive from Harare CBD. Best option would to self drive.
13.CHENGETA & PAMUZINDA : the two sister lodges offer amazing day experiences from game drives, canoeing and a delicious lunch. Best option would be a self drive. It is an hour drive away from Harare CBD.
14.MAZVIKADEI DAM: A beautiful dam that is 2 hours away from Harare. The perfect place for a day trip. Activities include boat ride, sight seeing and there are braai facilities.
15.LION & CHEETAH PARK/ SNAKE PARK- One of the most exciting activities at this park is the Bush experience Harare and the introduction of camels at the park. It is under hour’s drive from Harare CBD.
