I don't understand this perspective.

Delta's profit margin is around 9%. Suppose that under socialism we nationalized Delta and eliminated that margin while also suffering zero loss of operational efficiency. Would we use the savings to expand leg room, or make flights cheaper?
My bet is that we'd prioritize making flights a little cheaper, to maximize access, rather than maximizing individual passenger luxury.

What's more, under socialism, I can see leaders asking people to be pro-social and considerate, like this:

(And of course, this is assuming a nationalized Delta didn't suffer a loss of operational efficiency, forcing an even harsher trade-off between access to flights and comfort during flight. Big assumption!)
But anyway just imagine if the head of a nationalized Delta asked people to be considerate and ask the comrade behind them before reclining their seat, so that we could hold down costs and allow more people access to air travel.

What would the reaction be?
