Donald Trump and the welcoming of interference of our elections by foreign powers is the result of hypercapitalism and amoral, post-political international corporate philosophy.

Trump views politics as a tool of enrichment and actual democracy as a hindrance of profit.
International corporations are stateless states unto themselves. They don't have national allegiance, but use patriotism as a means of identity and promotion. They don't invest in infrastructure and taxes and education.

Trump is the embodiment of this.
Trump sees his partnership with Russia as a business partnership. In the corporate world this is just business as usual, even if it means an assault on institutions and liberties. It's a transaction and totally worth it because profit trumps all things.
Politics don't figure into it. Trump and Putin and corporations are post-political. They recognize the need to dominate the political sphere but also see politics as something to get past.

This runs through all corporate philosophy. Big tech, too.
The ultimate goal of all businesses and oligarchs is to move past politics as a whole and operate in a society where they can wield the law to their advantage and protect their interests.

Elections are the first thing to get rid of. They're a hindrance.
This is why they are principleless. Trump, Putin, big tech, all of them. They'll take on any philosophy at the moment, be it American "liberty" or Chinese domination, all to get past the political and move into a lawless state of endless profit and power.
It is absolutely impossible to understand this moment without recognizing we're operating in a post-political world. This is about getting past democracy in order to amass power and wealth. We're watching that destruction now on a global scale.
Patriotism doesn't enter it. Loyalty doesn't enter it. Those are just symbols to be used to profit, like a company with a commercial.

The real pursuit is the destruction of politics as a means of reform and transfer of power. It's entering an eternal state of manipulated control
It's not treason.

It's a business decision.

It's not betrayal of country.

It's an investment in future profits.

That's the very essence of what we're watching take place right now, and until we roll that back we're doomed to drown in it.
The core of Putinism, which we're seeing infect America now, is using nationalistic fervor to undermine globalist controls while assuming control of the globalist system for personal profit and political power.

Even more frightening: it's working around the world. And here.
While using nationalistic myths, Putinism seeks to take control of nations and plunge them into manufactured realities that seek to give manufactured narratives and create the illusion of democracy while controlling all democratic functions.

Again. It's working. There and here.
To attempt to understand our political moment without understanding this international war of information and hypercapitalistic authoritarianism is to be lost completely.

This isn't politics as usual. It's a worldwide war and revolution that's happening right out of sight.
If it sounds like a conspiracy theory, that's only because there's a legitimate conspiracy. It is an intricate, postmodern, digital-age, worldwide assault on the ideology of liberal democracy.

Putin and his technologists saw an opening, and they're taking it.
Americans believe they’re incapable of being manipulated, and that delusion has given cover and power to malevolent forces. It’s happening RIGHT NOW, today. The proof is overwhelming.

We have to reconsider these myths if we’re going to understand and prevent this threat.
