Worth noting - the EU negotiating position has been discussed by 27 Member States and the European Parliament before being finalised.

The UK negotiating position will only have been discussed by at most the Cabinet.

Experience suggests the EU's way provides a firmer platform.
In particular the asks of UK business associations and devolved assemblies are unlikely to be well reflected in the UK's negotiating objectives for the EU.

Remember it isn't just about getting *any* deal or no deal but preferably a *good* deal.
I'm particularly looking forward to hearing how the UK government answers questions about the role of devolved authorities in areas like agriculture. I think the devolved authorities are looking forward to hearing that as well...
