The Prime Minister and the Cabinet Secretary have a duty to investigate these allegations to a much faster timetable than an Employment Tribunal so that the normal functioning of the Home Office can be restored. They have to get a grip of this quickly
Civil servants work hard to deliver while Ministers provide leadership & are held to account. But they need to work together & people shd be treated properly. The Home Office is too important to function if there’s a poisoned relationship between Home Secretary & civil service
