I'm a progressive, but I would never vote for Bernie.

I prefer candidates who protect victims of child trafficking by powerful men, not those who profit from helping offenders hide their money when it's time to negotiate settlements.
If Trump can blame HRC for Bill's actions to deflect from his own history as a sexual predator, he'll blame Sanders for his wife's actions just as hard.

And when it comes time to pay the pedo piper this fall.... if Bernie is the candidate, you'll have given Trump the WHATABOUT BERNIE he can use to say

"hey, I only raped that one 11 yo girl. Sanders' + his wife helped those Catholic priests get away with many numbers more."
No. Bernie just ain't worth it.

You had 4 years to find someone less tainted than Bernie, but fell into the cult of personality trap that Trump was betting on.

Get behind Warren, or find someone with a similar platform and better judgement, and we'll talk in 2024.
I hope eventually that progressives are smart enough to avoid falling into the same trap as Denny Hastert's Republican Party - because that's what eventually got them to accept Trump.

False dichotomies. False choices.

Find someone better.

In nature, strains of viruses that kill or severely inhibit the activities of the host tend to spread less across the population less quickly.

In contrast, viral strains with a lower impact on the host organism - sniffles, not fever - actually enhances the risk of transmission.
IOW, if you hurt your host, you're less likely to survive, thus less likely to reproduce, thus less likely to spread.

Don't hurt your host & you're able to increase your exposure to new hosts, transmission permitting increasing reproductive fitness - that's how NatSel rolls.

I understand you are planning to vote for @BernieSanders.

This is a free country, and you have the right to #vote for him. I am grateful to live in a country where we actually have a choice when we go to the #ballotbox. There are many countries where that option doesn't exist.
That there are countries were the head of government places his/her name on the ballot, no competition, and still conducts an election. Of course, in such countries, voting is actually often MANDATORY.
Did you realize that?

The result? The head of government receives overwhelming ballot box support. 80% 90% support!

I was eight, and after school used to walk to his office in the old plant on Prince Street in Randolph, because my mom still worked at Wheaton College in MA.
3/16 I would draw or do homework at a drafting table in an office they called the "bomb shelter", because its low ceiling, tiny door, and three men over 6'4" working inside.

In school yesterday, a case of pre eclampsia was reviewed( for those who do not know what this means, it’s simply one of the hypertensive disorders in pregnancy)
and the patient was subsequently booked for an emergency cesarean section and she was delivered of a live female and
Both the mother and baby are fine
We get to see a lot of deliveries both complicated and uncomplicated ones and we are always happy to hear that both the mother and baby are fine, what struck me today about this particular patient was the fact that this isn’t particularly a happy story.
