2nd reading of @Dave_Eby's bill to limit expert witness reports in ICBC cases just turned into a massacre as Eby dismantled in 5 minutes an hour's worth of Lib arguments on how inappropriate it is for an AG to fiddle with ICBC - by pointing out all the times the Lib gov did it.
@Dave_Eby At one point @Dave_Eby pointed out how hypocritical the Liberal arguments are by saying it as is Liberal MLAs "just fell from space" into the chamber and didn't understand their own party's history of ICBC interference.
then pointed to this @VaughnPalmer column to outline the history of Liberal AG ICBC interference.

Also pointed out many other provinces limit court expert reports.
Was a very illustrative moment of how hard it is going to be for the Opposition BCLibs to effectively critique the NDP's ICBC changes, because Libs have to walk so carefully in their criticism given their history of fiddling with the Crown corporation's finances/operations.
The Liberals argued limiting court reports is unconstitutional and a betrayal of legal precedent. Also argued court rules committee wasn't consulted. Eby countered by saying other provinces already do this, and court rules committee resigned after BCLib gov ran roughshod over it
