The lake that was rejuvenated 3 months back is now hosting 2000+ birds of 20+ species. Can there be anything else that makes our job more satisfying!

The various stages of the lake spanning a year would speak volumes. 2+ 
Kudos to the dedicated staff who worked tirelessly to make this miracle happen which proved that ecosystems can be recovered back from inert state. Gratitude to all the seniors for the support, guidance and constant encouragement. 2+
Species recorded here are Open Billed Storks, Grey Hérons, Little Egrets, Cattle Egret, Purple Morhen, Pond And Night Herons, Darters, Cormorants, Spoonbills, Coot, Ibis, Lapwings & many more. With all these birds, we can very call this lake as a 'Mini-Védanthangal'

Adding more value to the work, the lake has soon become a place for people to sight these birds from a safe distance. Was happy to spend time with these young kids from Javadu Hills who spent good amount of time here to see the birds.
