Interesting that whether it's Sanders or Biden, two older white men, their most likely running mate will be a younger woman of color. Although they could "double down" a la Clinton in '92, it's unlikely. That means they'll share significant overlap in possible Veeps (thread)
These are not all women of color, but they are on the younger side. The most mentioned runnings mates are:

Kamala Harris (55)
Stacey Abrams (46)
Nina Turner (52)
Susan Rice (55)
Gretchen Whitmer (48)
Amy Klobuchar (59)
There are less frequently mentioned candidates in this vein:

Tammy Baldwin (58)
Tammy Duckworth (51)
Val Demings (62)
Catherine Cortez Masto (55)
Barbara Lee (73)
Sally Yates (59)
Rounding out the women is Elizabeth Warren, who is a theoretical good choice for either nominee for different reasons. But it's also hard to see either offering or her accepting. She may more want Treasury or Fed Chair or Senate leadership.
There are some men who are still mentioned. The most likely:

Julián Castro (45)
Cory Booker (50)
Beto O'Rourke (47)
Pete Buttigieg (38)
Andrew Gillum (40)
Either nominee could throw a dramatic curveball and double down. Some possibilities:

Sherrod Brown (67)
Doug Jones (65)
Tim Kaine (62)
If it's Biden, I think his shortlist is Abrams, Harris, Whitmer, and Buttigieg -- possibly with one of these replaced by Duckworth (probably in place of Buttigieg).
If it's Sanders, I think his shortlist is Abrams, Turner, Lee, and Gillum, though it would not surprise me to see Whitmer switched out for Lee or Gillum.
If I had to guess right now for both, Abrams seems most likely to get the nod. She is loved by both wings of the party, received endorsements from every party big wig in her run for governor, and she has no baggage. She also puts Georgia in play.
